Deposit Information |
A deposit of $50.00 per person for complete outfitting, or $100.00 total for partial outfitting is required when making the reservation.
Deposits are non-refundable, but may be applied for a differnt trip in 2008 or a trip in 2009.
The US Forest Service now charges a flat fee of $44.00 to make a reservation. $12.00 of this goes to the reservation service and the other $32.00 is for two $16.00 adult camping fees for camping in the BWCAW. Any additional camping fees are paid when picking up the permit. Children (17 years and under) are charged $8.00 per child for a camping fee.
If you don't have a credit card, we can use ours, but the charge is $46.00 for the reservation instead of $44.00.
If your reservation is for the Quetico Park, those user fees of $20.00 per adult per night are paid at the Ranger Station at Prairie Portage, Cache Bay or Sand Point Lake (or Atikokan if entering from the north). Quetico charges a $12.00 non-refundable fee, plus a $100.00 deposit.
